I mentioned her a couple of months ago, in a comment about an extraordinary post about her father defending her from some security goons threatening to rape her.

Well, she has disappeared. And may be in the hands of security goons right now.

Girl missing...

I cant say in all honesty that I'm surprised. Girl mouths off to security forces and dad shames them. It's too bad that we don't have enough security interest in Syria's freedom to actually do something about it (the whole situation, not just the girl).

Horrible!

This is horrible! It was so inspiring to read about her Dad standing up for her previously. And she showed great courage before too. We can only hope that she makes it through this.

At this point, I'm taking everything with a grain of salt

There are possibilities for manipulation or creation of online, fictional personalities by forces wanting US intervention against Syria.

She's a US citizen -- Amina Arraf

The blogger Amina Arraf is a US citizen through her mother, Syrian through her father, so people could contact Uncle Sam to take an interest, since she is at risk of rape, torture and murder for activities which are human rights according to our Founding Fathers.
