Cocktail drinks

I´m sorry I will not be around DC for the event but I am really interested in the ... drinks!

What red and white wine are you serving? You should consider Ribeiro (www.ribeiro.es) or Rias Baixas (www.doriasbaixas.com) as a white wine. Casal de Armán or Terras Gaudas will give you a new sens of AfPak policy. As for the red wine you might want either Rioja's Herencia Remondo or Ribera del Duero's Pesquera. It would be a great way to have one of your allies present, somehow. Or you could finish the night in one of Jose Andres' restaurants in DC.
