Here is an appreciation I wrote for Slate of a Doonesbury comic strip that touched me. I am serious about Garry Trudeau deserving a special Pulitzer for his commentary on our current wars and our vets.

I tell people if you want to know what it was like in the Persian Gulf War read the books he put together from the strips from that war. They are on my bookself with my other miltary subject books. No one I have found explains it better.
