View on Bastille Day

Interesting way of representing Bastille Day. I do love Goya's work though.

The massive use of the guillotine came later than 14 July 1789 (Bastille Day), in particular in 1793 during the "Reign of Terror". Bastille Day represents more the people rising up to destroy a symbol of absolutism, and the national cohesion of the French.
