I see where representatives of the governments of Israel and Iran have been meeting secretly in Cairo to chat about nuclear weapons. I was surprised, but good for them.

I'm confused

Since Iran as a prctical matter can't test and weaponize for maybe 5-10 years, whose weapons are under discussion? Are Egypt's nuclear weapon's the subject? Or has Israel abondoned N-weappon 'opacity', threatening to trigger Arabia into doing the same, as they have threatened?

Keep asking the Helen Thomas question, until it gets answered. Who do we know that's got 'em now?

Pakistani nukes are supposed to make their Islamic republic our major worry. But there are nukes extant and probable that are much closer and more relevant to the Islamic oil and the Suez Canal at the heart of Zawahiri's war.
